Current Position: Chair

Hailing from Romney, Michael moved to Morgantown to attend WVU School of Pharmacy.  As a recent graduate in the class of 2022, he has continued living in Morgantown and works as a Pharmacist. In his free time Michael enjoys spending time outdoors (especially on the water), taking a class at Orange Theory Fitness or Zenergy Cycling, tasting new craft beers at The Apothecary Ale house and Cafè, and traveling. Michael has one fur-baby, named Benson, who was rescued from a kill shelter earlier this year. He loves listening to music, defines himself as a Swiftie, and will enthusiastically attend any concert. Current position: Vice Chair, Treasurer

Originally from Charleston, Layne came to Morgantown for undergraduate and graduate school at WVU. After earning his degrees, he moved back to Charleston to work for Suttle and Stalnaker, PLLC, the largest WV only based public accounting firm. In 2021 he passed all four sections of the Uniform CPA exam and became a licensed CPA in the state of West Virginia. Through his professional experience, Layne has learned the value of helping people and organizations in the community around him. In 2022, he and his husband moved back to Morgantown, WV. Current Position: Social Media Coordinator

Gemma relocated to Morgantown in 2022 to continue her work as a neuroscientist at WVU. She was captivated by the vibrant community of Morgantown; and motivated by a passion for social and philanthropic endeavors, she joined the board to contribute to its mission of retaining and empowering young professionals. She is excited to be part of a community that not only fosters community engagement but also drives meaningful change in the town.

Current Position: Newly-elected Member

A native to Parkersburg, WV, Greg moved to Morgantown in 2008 to earn his Bachelor's Degree from WVU in Parks and Recreation. From 2010 to 2018, Greg's career journey took him all across the country, where he held various adventurous roles including whitewater guide, ropes course facilitator, SCUBA instructor, rock climbing guide, aerial adventure park installer, and adventure park facilitator instructor. One of the highlights of his career was managing the ziplines during the 2013 National Scout Jamboree in Southern WV.

Currently, Greg works as a Project Manager for a large commercial landscaping firm, supervising projects all over the Tri-state area. Outside of work, Greg remains active in promoting outdoor recreation and environmental stewardship.
